Homes for Texas Heroes Program
If you work in the public safety sector, or if you are a licensed teacher or a military veteran, there is a home loan assistance program made especially for you! The Homes for Texas Heroes Program helps teachers, veterans, firefighters, police officers, corrections officers, and medical first responders obtain loans and down payment assistance. If you belong to one of these professions, you can qualify for a 30-year fixed rate mortgage and much more, even if you’re not a first-time homebuyer. The Homes for Texas Heroes is just one of many down payment assistance programs TX Home Now will connect you with.
We discover down payment assistance programs available to Texas homebuyers and help you qualify for them. We do this by taking your information and finding out if you pass our eligibility requirements. Our requirements are virtually identical to those used by the down payment assistance programs. Any adult homebuyer who meets our requirements is welcome to apply.
